About
Hello, I'm Alicia 👋
I have been working in UI/UX design for two years and currently hold a position as a UI designer in the POS systems industry.
Beyond my primary work, I’ve designed a variety of products, including food ordering platforms, transportation planning apps, and organizational decision-making systems. I also have experience working with international teams, designing interfaces in multiple languages, and conducting research for products aimed at global markets.
In my free time, I enjoy reading books, hiking, and traveling. These activities help me find balance in my busy life.
Experience
Competition
This was a UX design challenge organized by IterateUX, attracting participants from around the world.
My two teammates are from India (based in Surat) and Iran (based in Toronto). We collaborated remotely across countries to develop a product that serves global users.
In this competition, I was selected as the Primary Participant responsible for direct interaction with real clients. Our team partnered with the Canadian consulting firm Realize Solutions to create a solution that helps cooperative-based organizations collaborate and make decisions effectively.
IterateUX UX Design Challenge
Our presentation
During the seven-week Product Design Challenge, we redesigned BUS+, a well-known transportation planning app in Taiwan. From user research to usability testing, we followed a comprehensive design process to address the existing product's pain points and enhance the user experience.
In this competition, I collaborated with five other designers. Our team's proposal was well-received by the judges, and we achieved the Silver Award.

The Lucky Star team demonstrated clear goals and mature market analysis capabilities in product planning and business strategy. They effectively defined market size and product direction, achieving a balance between commercial advertising and user experience through a comprehensive SWOT analysis.
In UX, they enriched the data integrity through competitive analysis and user interviews, though the depth of the research process could have been improved.
The UI design was outstanding in terms of visual and brand identity, with the application of design principles and color schemes enhancing the interface's maturity.
Although the overall project lacked significant innovation, the redesign was comprehensive and made effective use of the operating system's features. The presentation was well-structured, allowing for a quick understanding of the proposal content. Overall, the Lucky Star team exhibited well-thought-out strategic planning and professional design standards.
